What Happens on Treatment Day at LovMedSpa
Arrive 10 minutes early, your provider reviews your intake and confirms your plan, photos are taken for your medical record, numbing is applied where needed, and treatment begins. Most injectable visits take 30 to 45 minutes door to door. Device treatments run 45 to 90 minutes. You leave with written aftercare and a direct line for questions.
Before you arrive
General preparation that applies to most treatments: arrive with clean skin and no makeup on the treatment area, stay hydrated, and eat a normal meal beforehand. For injectables, avoid alcohol for 24 hours and, if medically appropriate for you, avoid blood-thinning supplements like fish oil for several days to reduce bruising. Never stop a prescribed medication without your doctor's approval. Your confirmation email includes treatment-specific prep for exactly what you booked.
When you walk in
You check in, your provider reviews your medical intake and confirms nothing has changed, and your treatment plan is confirmed out loud before anything happens. Baseline photos go into your medical record so results can be tracked objectively at follow-up.
Numbing and comfort
Treatments that benefit from it (injectables in sensitive areas, RF microneedling, laser) start with 20 to 45 minutes of topical numbing. Build that into your time estimate. Most patients rate treatment discomfort between 2 and 4 out of 10 with numbing on board.
During treatment
Your provider narrates as they work, you are never left wondering what is happening. Injectable appointments typically involve 15 to 25 minutes of active treatment. Device treatments run in passes over the treatment area and take 30 to 60 minutes of active time depending on the area size.
Before you leave
You receive written aftercare specific to your treatment, your provider confirms what is normal to experience in the next 48 hours versus what warrants a call, and your follow-up is scheduled if your treatment calls for one. You leave with a direct contact for questions, not a general voicemail box.

Can someone come with me?
Yes, a guest can accompany you to your consultation and wait during treatment.
Can I drive myself home?
Yes. No LovMedSpa treatment requires sedation, you are fully alert and can drive, work, and go about your day within the limits of your aftercare instructions.
What if I'm running late?
Call the location. We will fit you in where possible, but numbing time means late arrivals sometimes need to reschedule the treatment portion.
Will I see results the same day?
Depends on the treatment. Filler results are immediate. Botox develops over 3 to 14 days. Collagen-based treatments build over weeks to months. Your provider sets the exact expectation before you leave.
