Trimix?
Trimix is a compounded blend of three medications — alprostadil, papaverine, and phentolamine — that relax the smooth muscle of the penis and open its arteries directly. Because it works locally rather than through the bloodstream, it typically produces an erection within minutes, often regardless of arousal, nerve damage, or how a man responds to pills.
It is widely regarded as one of the most reliable ED treatments short of surgery, and a common option for men whose erectile dysfunction stems from diabetes, prostate surgery, or vascular disease that oral medication has not overcome.
The injection uses an ultra-fine insulin needle placed at the side of the shaft. Most men describe it as a brief pinch. The first dose is given in-office so your provider can find your exact dose and confirm the erection resolves on schedule; after that you self-administer at home as needed.
Trimix is compounded to your prescription by a licensed pharmacy and dosed precisely for you. It is not a one-size product — the ratio and strength are adjusted toward a firm erection that typically lasts around an hour and then subsides on its own.
At LovMedSpa, Trimix is prescribed only after a medical evaluation by our Medical Directors, and every patient is taught the technique in person before taking a single dose home.
Acts directly on penile tissue, so it can produce an erection even in men who get little response from sildenafil or tadalafil.
Onset typically within minutes, with an erection lasting roughly an hour — timing you can plan around.
Your provider titrates the strength in-office so you get exactly enough, not more.
After the first supervised dose, you inject at home with an insulin-sized needle. The whole process takes a minute.
Because little medication enters the bloodstream, the headaches, flushing, and congestion common with pills are less likely.
